Please submit your Aussie content sites to my new directory Down Under Index and help me build up my database of links.

Reciprocal links are not required but, as always, are very much appreciated!

Add your Australian website here: http://www.downunderindex.com/add.php

    Cheers and thanks!

All the best getting your directory off the ground.

You'll find most members here are looking for search engine friendly directories to submit to.

You provide redirected links like this http://www.downunderindex.com/go.php?link_id=32 Most people here are looking for straight html links.

Also, there appears to be something wrong with the script as you can't access any of the sites within the directory.

Can you be a bit more specific about the problem you are encountering please? Everything seems to be working okay for me.

Do you mean that that you are unable to visit the listed sites when you click on 'Visit'?

It's just that if there are any bugs I want to inform the programmer ASAP.

Directories generally do not produce that much traffic, so the value of the link needs to be worth submitting. If the link doesn't go directly to the site it is displaying, then there is almost no benefit.
This free script has static links.

Thanks for all your feedback guys! I appreciate it!

This is my first attempt at a directory and perhaps I should have chosen another script. I must admit that this one was easy to set up and customise. Although it might not be the most search engine friendly script I am feeding the site traffic from another Aussie Site I run which gets around 15,000 uniques a month... so you guys with good Aussie sites will probably get some traffic out of it anyway if you submit... so please help me out if you can! I need links!

Edit: Submitted anyways, I have a few other Aussie sites to submit in a month or so too, cheers!

Sorry Art, but I'm really just after sites with 100% Aussie content. Gotta stay true to my niche!

Good luck with your site though!

    Best wishes!

    Joe,

If you were using direct links rather than jump links, I'd add to the directory. I have an Australian Real Estate website, and of course, whenever I choose to list in a directory (extremely rare) I always reciprocate.

PM me if you change it, and all the best with it.

    Cheers,

    JL

    Hi Joe Blow (great name)

Have you considered having an "across the ditch" section?

    Hi John,

I'll hope you will reconsider. It will only take moment to submit.

On the plus side, I'm feeding it with some traffic from an Aussie financial forum I run (100,000 page views a month) so you might actually get some good targetted traffic.

    Thanks for your comments anyway!

    Cheers!
    Joe
