As the title says come on guys we need to make are feelings known about those who will spam a whole load of junk on to our forum threads. I dont mean to be harsh but when you have wrote a well thought out question/answer the last thing you want is some idiot come along and post a load of poo with with links. Or is it just me? and yes i'm well aware this thread is going to invite people to do it but what the hey, isnt a forum about posting your opinion. Anyway its not like i have a problem people posting their links as long as they take the effort to post an opinion, advice or compliment! So i say again who is with me on this????????
Well, if you read carefully not all threads are link spam. There are many threads with healthy (sometimes unhealthy) discussions taking place. I have often seen mods closing threads that might become link fest
mods here are pretty strict on junk/useless/irrelevant posts and remove the spam + ban the spammers on a regular basis. i c increased amount of members being banned lately but there is only so much mods can do. its not a perfect world and no matter what we do, we cannot stop the spam. taking certain preventive measures and deal with them on a case by case basis on most situations is the best we can do
the mods are pretty good at removing spam. wouldnt it be great if there was a way of fighting back the spammers.
Lol no to be honest i was having a dig at another Adsense orientated forum site AdSense community i think where you get pages and pages of spam not good when you actually just want advice!!
