Anyone who is even tempted to believe that a Caliphate is a realistic and workable proposition should first read: The Islamist: Why I Joined Radical Islam in Britain, What I Saw Inside and Why I Left http://www.amazon.co.uk/Islamist-Jo...3175842?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1186393397&sr=8-1 Quite simply the Hizb ut-Tahrir preaches, imho, a flawed vision of the world, without any true basis in the koran. It is after one thing only - political power. One only has to look at some of the more radical muslim countries to see how this would work in practice - such as Saudi Arabia - where everyone is segregated, lives in compounds, the poor are left to rot and the rich don't give a damn.
