Hello. Sorry if my terminology is not correct. I have sold a certain line of products online for years, my website is over 1000 pages of content I created to describe the product line etc. There are very few companies that actually have these products in stock, I am one of them. I do sell via Amazon also. A few years ago I noticed a guy in California built a website from his basement in his underwear, basically describing my product line. His website was full of affiliate links to Amazon for these products. He must be a good web author because his search ranks got pretty high despite lame content (in my opinion). As of now, I see his website has no Amazon affiliate links. I assume Amazon terminated the relationship due to the new Calif law. I also see that a different company, located in San Francisco, which actually sells items at Amazon is still active and shipping (say for example, one of my competitors who has a bricks and mortar store and is also an Amazon merchant). I wonder why Amazon terminated their "affiliate" partners but they still have active merchant partners. Do you think this may change?
