Allllright, I am not affiliated with the Calendars.com affiliate program, however, I am a customer of theirs and I think that you guys can do lots of business selling calendars this holiday season. [Check out their traffic chart on Alexa, and you'll see that they are not only popular, but right now is the best time to promote their site: http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/calendars.com]

Their affiliate program is world class, FatWallet is one of their affiliates, for example, and they give out cashback when you shop there.

They pay out between 10 and 15% for every sale that is completed.
You also can promote DogBreedStore.com since they are the same company.
You can link to specific products on their site (over 5,000 types) or categories.
You can promote coupon codes that encourage users to buy.
Calendars.com constantly has sales going on on their site that change every few weeks.
They don't charge sales tax unless you are ordering from Texas or New York (good selling point for your customers).

Its really simple, and you have 4 choices for affiliate networks to work with, odds are you already have an account with one of them:

    Avantlink (avantlink.com)
    Commission Junction (cj.com)
Google Affiliate Network (http://www.google.com/ads/affiliatenetwork/) up to 13% commission, only after 50 sales.
ShareaSale (shareasale.com) up to 13% commission.

Here is more info on the affiliate program, dont forget to check out the FAQs.

Finally, to help you make sales Calendars.com allows your customers to use coupon codes like Free Shipping, while still giving you your commission. So, Calendars.com loses some money giving the discount to the customer, but you make the same commission.

To get you started, here is a Free Shipping coupon code that is popular on sites like FatWallet and RetailMeNot:

FS2308 - Free shipping on any purchase, no minimum. Expires February 28, 2010.

I have more tips if anyone is interested.

That's interesting. I've never bought a calendar. Seems like the money is in selling to business to buy in bulk for promotional purposes.
