Calendar to generate PHP variable

    Hello everyone, I am hoping to get some suggestions on how I can accomplish this. I want to add a calendar to my web page im working on and have it allow a user to select a day (or date range) and have the page store that date as a php variable ($date) when they select a day.

    Are there any things out to allow me to accomplish this or can someone point me in the right direction?
