So, this is my No.50 post, and I want to celebrate and to make a new tread with my 50th post. Becouse, from now on my AdSense will show here and I will became a cyber millionaire as all of you here are. Now I will try to convince you that this is not just a spam. I would like to suggest to admin of this forum to consider small modification of code which displays time when post was submited. IMO it would be nice if time can be additionally displayed in format "2 hours and 45 minutes ago", "3 days and 4 hours ago" etc. I am not in a same time zone ad digital point, so first I ask myself "which time zone is in my User CP?..." and than to calculate. And if time is for example "Jul 24th 2006, 9:32 am" then I first have to remember today's date or to look at system tray. That is all. Thank you.
Why is it useful to know how many hours or minutes old a thread is? I don't see a benefit of a bigger 'resolution' than days.
The time zone is irrelevant anyway because it adjusts so all the dates/times correspond to your local time (make sure you have the right time zone set on your account in the User CP).
I think it is better becouse it is simplier. If I see date or time - I have to calculate, but if I see 'half an hour ago' - that's it, I know when it was posted. Sometimes, for example, I find a tread and maybe I would like to post. But... Only if it is still actual. In some cases, if it is too old tread I realize you people are finished that issue... As I said, I think it would be nice, but I agree that is not so important. It is not better enough.
