hey all, appologies if this is a wrong forum for this query. is there a way to calculate the number of internal links for a particular site. i am trying to access what percentage of my pages gets indexed by Google and other search engines... thanks james
I might be misunderstanding your question... In Google, site:www.yoursite.com -- is that what you mean?
minstrel, thanks for trying to help. site:www.yoursite.com will give me the number of my pages indexed by Google. what i like to do is to get the actual number of pages on my site so that i can calculate the % of them is indexed by google at any given time
Is the site dynamic or static, if static just do a simple file count (with appropriate filter) whilst if it's dynamic that then depends on how it is generated. Alternatively you may be able to use one the freebie site link checkers to get a count.
try this keyword density analyzer which includes also a link counter: http://www.ranks.nl/tools/spider.html
