That's a great site for getting your business name out there. I use it, but don't actually try to make any profit off any of the clothing for our businesses. If someone is going to sport our name around, then I see no reason to mark the price up anymore. I mean really, how many people do you even see wearing "Coke" or "Pepsi" clothes? Even the big dogs are not cool. So we pretty much use cafe press as a way of buying uniform clothing, and a few other cool things. The quality is actually pretty good.

    yes, it is optional. http://www.cafepress.com/muskegoninfo
See our prices. They are at 0% profit (cost), so don't plan on making alot, because the price is already at standard retail.

Cafe Press is a site that prints your logo (or banner or whatever) onto merchandise like T-Shirts, bags, posters, mugs, etc. Then, you can sell the merch through your Cafe Press store.

You can generate money with Cafe Press...but the cost of the items is so high, it'd be hard to mark up your materials enough to make a profit, but not so much that you scare away customers.

Like I said above, company logos are a hard thing to market. Unless you are a "clothing company" ie: Nike, Adidas, LEI, Macy's, etc, you will have a very hard time getting people to sport your logo around. People wear fashion, and many are into trends. Company shirts don't fall anywhere close to either of those two equations.

Like Lavinco said, it'll be hard to get people to buy your logo. I would suggest coming up with some kind of catchy phrases or something making those the focus of the merch, and make your logo a small part.

Putting designs or slogans up, one can make a dollar. I make about $60 a year from CafePress selling slogans I put up like five years ago. Just set and forget.

Image one could make more if they promoted or did more designs.

You might also want to look into Zazzle.com

Would you wear a T-Shirt that has the FreeKii logo on it?
We're thinking of having a "Slogan" contest and the winner would receive a Free T-Shirt with their slogan.

I think you have a great name to play with. If I were you, I would actually market the name as "F***Kie" (with the asterisks). The F***K part would raise just enough controversy to get lots of attention, yet still be cool once they figure out the real name. Perhaps put the real name in your slogan or something.

Kinda reminds me of a hand car wash business owner that posted on his sign out front "Get the best hand job in town". You better believe he got the attention he hoped for. It was so controversial, that he was in the national news and finally ordered by his local township to remove the advertisement or be fined. :D
