Café Press - help needed

    Hello.

I discovered Café Press a few weeks ago, and thought I would try it out. I started by making a teen clothing shop (http://www.cafepress.com/BlinkStore) to get used to Café Press a bit, have some fun, and thought it may turn out alright. But after I had completed a few designs I realized that I was going for the wrong audience. Teenagers who are into ‘cool’ clothing most likely wouldn't buy clothes off the internet.

So I thought I had better re-think my plans. I tried to think of a product that would suite the online buying audience more (which I am guessing would be around 25 to 40), and something that everyone in that age would like. So I thought I would try Zodiacs. A lot of people like Zodiac signs, and it isn’t country/religion/age dependant.

So I did some research, made 12 designs in Photoshop, and so far have completed 2 stores,

    http://www.cafepress.com/aquarius_zodiac

    and

    http://www.cafepress.com/gemini_zodiac

    (the calendars are my favorites).

Overall I think the stores turned out pretty well, but would like some advice from people who know more than me (which isn’t hard :p ), to know wether or not I should take them further, by trying to advertise it.

If I do try and get my stores ‘out there’, I will complete all 12 stores, add descriptions to them all, change the prices (most of them are to high) and make a page where they can all be accessed from. And if I can start making sales, will likely upgrade to the pro version of Café Press.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you for your time.

I have been selling motorcycle related tees there for few years.
I think that last newsletter said something like items will no longer be available trough cafe press store, so you will have to promote them yourself.

Best way is to build your own web site with your own domain and promote it. Link buy now buttons to caffepress, work it out...

Another tip that should greatly increase sales is to put something more on shirts, simplified signs would not be enough for me to buy it.
Try with some funny text bellow sign that characterizes each sign. It will not be too difficult to find it, web is full of alternative and cynic horoscopes.

For example, Libra is considered indecisive so put something like "Yes I'm sure... or maybe not." under a sign.
