My most of the articles' pages has gone into supplement result which earlier were ranking on the first page of google. these articles were original and no duplicate content used or no kind of spamming was done. See if someone can come up with any particular reason: The URL is below (please omit in between spaces):
    www. coulsonpritchard.com/articles/income-protection-insurance. asp
    www. coulsonpritchard.com/articles/professional-indemnity-insurance-why-freelancers-need-it. asp
    www. coulsonpritchard.com/articles/contractor-banking. asp
    www. coulsonpritchard.com/articles/business-insurance-freelance-professionals. asp
    www. coulsonpritchard.com/articles/Income-Protection-For-Contractors. asp

If it's in supplemental result it means there is article that has been indexed first in other site or blog. Where did you post the article?

Yep, backlinks are usually the answer. But it looks like the site has quite a lot of decent links, and isn't very large, so I'm a bit surprised.

One thing, did you change the menu system recently? Sometimes menus that aren't straight textlinks can cause problems. It is probably worth adding a sitemap of all the pages, with the sitemap linked from the homepage, to help things along.
