Hello All, My site is not cached regularly by Google. When I checked my competitors website, it get cached daily. I think that's why he is on top ranking just above me. Is cached affects the ranking? And what I do if I want to cached my site daily?
That can be also reason of update. As i care till now if your site update regular then google bot will crawl your site regular automatically. Specially if your site contain any important and full with information data. And if you are not updating your site then google bot will make a duration for your site auto like duration of 15 days or 25 days (depend on his algo and no one know his algo 100% so we can guess only). Revisite-after tag also does not effect bot if you will not update your site. try to update your site as soon as possible with related and important data. Thanks Manual Submission Team
I am sure he is updating atleast one page per day else google will not crawl it daily. And that also it is not mandatory he is updating home page may be inner page also
Sure caching is effecting on the traffic and ranking . Better update always and keep making quality BL this will increase the google caching rate
The site map that you submit to Google allows you to specify how frequently you would like each of your pages to be crawled (and also the relative importance of each page) - beware though, I have heard that it is not a good idea to - for example - ask for a daily crawl and only to update you page once a year. Also, even if you ask for a daily crawl there is no guarantee that Google will do so - especially if your content does not change frequently.
keep on adding new pages to ur site and dont forget to submit ur sitemap.xml file to goole webmaster tools by editing, when ever u add a new page. this will help the google bot to know about how frequently ur site make changes or add new articles and than it will set ur frequency rate. more the bot crawls ur site more time it will be cached...
