I was checking out my competitors, and I see that all of them have a recent cache from February 5th. My cache is from January 25th! Do you have any idea of what can be happening? I was getting almost daily cache updates, but sudenly it stopped and I am stuck.

    Any help will be apreciated

    Thanks

Has your page changed since January 25? If not, why do you worry about a more recent cache?

My page changes every single day, and I worry because I used to get a new cache every couple of days, now it hasn't changed for a long time and my new content will never get indexed if this keeps up. I also worry because I checked my competitors sites and they all have an updated cache.

Yahoo and MSN are updating their cache, what the heck happened to Google??

Do you have a robots.txt or robots meta tag? Also do you link to blacklisted sites by Google? Do you have a tracking tool that allows you to see if the Google Bot actually spidered your site not anymore since Jan 25th or was there just no cache created?

    Robots.txt is there and validated...
In my last cache I saw link to "Bielizna" one of co-op sites with hidden text...
I removed coop ads because of such sites...
Googlebot continue to spider pretty well every day.
But main page cache is not updated since Jan. 23

hmm the link to that hidden link site might be a reason for giving your site a temporary penalty, but it surely won't result in a ban from google, if it is just a temporary penalty you have to wait up to two months to get back your good results... gone through this procedure once and google was kind enough to explain it (had two domains showing the same content)

Thise site that has the #1 spot at google for my keyword is also a member of the coop, and he has 3 times more weight than I do, so I don't think we can blame the coop.

OK... my site is now showing a cache of February 4th... at least that is solved.

Now, could I have my previous top-10 rankings back, please????? :D

(BTW... I hate paranoid people... but I took out the coop code on this site and a few hours later my cache was updated! Coincidence??)
