    HI

Google takes a snapshot of each page it examines and caches (stores) that version as a back-up. The cached version is what Google uses to judge if a page is a good match for your query.

Also one more important thing, google caches pages regularly in 1-2 weeks time as per your meta settings. or your preference in google web master tool.

Search engines keeps pages in cache till it crawls your page again. In the meantime if you don't want that page because of unavailability of the page on server, you can request google to remove the URL, you can do it by google webmaster tool as well. Wonderful tool, use it , it makes life easy.
