Hey everyone, I want to buy a CA domain, but I guess they dont let yanks buy them (americans). Does anyone know a way of legally acquiring one still? I'm not going to cheat and lie, but if anyone knows a loophole let me know please! I really want this domain, as I own the .com and I want to do a canadian version of my website.

No loopholes to acquire one legally. You must be Canadian resident or citizen.

To hold and maintain registration of a .CA domain name, you must meet the Canadian Presence Requirements as outlined by the registry CIRA.

When you are registering a .CA domain name, you are required to provide a Canadian contact address and phone number. Please ensure that the information you provide on your .CA domain name application form is correct.

What you can do legally register a .CA domain name if you don't meet any of the requirements is ask a Canadian friend to register it for you.
