    Hey everyone,

I put up a site as a joke last year and have actually started to toy around with it and add content.

    The site is: http://www.cwhyteforpresident.com

I'm trying to turn it into an entertainment site (much like a cross between thephatphree and ebaumsworld), with just about everything you can possibly think of scattered in with it.

I've heard that it's clustered and it "has errors according to W3" but I'm really looking to see what you guys think of it design wise.

    Thanks a bunch!

Very slow to load, I suggest reducing the picture size or something. The links on the left and right are all a bit spammy. Change these so thye look less like ads.

I wouldn't have bothered to read this paragraph usually. Not really eye catching enough. (When i did read it, it was still quite boring)

Not a glowing report im afraid, but the site has potential!

Edit: (for uk audience!): Donation on a compaign website? Better make it a "loan"!!!!

Thanks for the violent domination lol. Yeah, the site is quite slow, and has a lot of randomness to it...I'll try to fix that.

    Anything else guys?

What's with the password protection log-in box on the Photoshop page? Where does it go? What's being protected? If you want people to sign up for an account, give them a reason to do so.

Also, it looks like you might have some good content on the philosophy page, however I'd try to get it out of pdf format unless you have a really compelling reason to do so. While Google etc can index pdf files, people are hesitant to click on them because of the long download times.

The rest of the content is just bizarre enough to be able to carve out it's own niche - one can see this sort of thing being succesful - Hell, the internet practically started with Dan's Gallery of the Grotesque (remember that, y'all!), so there's history there.

    Cheers,

    Jason

The password protection? Oh, I was just testing out this Bravenet thing (I don't think it takes you anywhere).

As for the randomness... yeah, I guess that's what the sites turned into. Thanks for the "NO PDF" tip!
