C Class IPS

    Whats your view on C class IPS? Does google discount links on the same c class ip? If thats the case, all the sites on softlayer.com would be discounted right?

    I don't believe they are discounted, but they don't hold the same value as inbounds from different C Class IPS.

    I also think that this is not always the case. It all depends on volume and how Google perceives to be the intention of the links.

    If you have 5 inbounds from the same C Class IP, and if you are providing reciprocal links to those IP's, I'm guessing that they wouldn't hold the same value as a single link from a unique Class C.

    I must admit however that I have not tested this myself.

    i'm trying this now. i have a server on softlayer and i'm doing that for nearly 2 months and it did not bring too much positive effect
