Bypass china firewall ?

Hi,

I just read the post about google.com being blocked in china.

I will be going to china next month and spending quite some time there.

Any ideas of what i could setup now to enable me to bypass the firewall ?

Yes proxy sites are useful for you. Like proxylush.com or proxy.org

 

What about when using ftp software ?

I find that public proxys are usually slow.

 

I read this one news about china against google. Maybe they find google as a threat for the chinese people or businesses. Well i use proxies sometimes, you could also search google for dedicated proxies that you could personally use just for yourself but its not for free..

recently they even hijack google, yahoo, live searches to divert to baidu. Proxy is the only way to go i guess, though new proxy seems to be fast since they are still under utilize.
