Thanks for letting us know. Your account will remain active should you decide to return.

FWIW there were notices dating from 2010 that iTrader was going to be discontinued and those records are still available. I guess it just irks you that of your 422 posts only 2 people found them of value. With the new system the concept of liking good content has higher visibility and it should become easier to get that recognition when you are helpful.

    1. Didn't that get converted to Likes?
    2. You need one more like to get your siggy back.
    3. you just need to get used to it, it's actually easier.
    4. FALSE. It's much faster. Check your connection.

You and about 100 other people make threads like these everyday. Read around first to see what's going on. Have a nice day :) Good Luck

    1. No... iTrader is on a user's Marketplace tab. Reputation was converted to likes.

Why to start from the beginning? He can't easely make a deal with someone because he has 0 trades for now - I mean, wtf, v7n is now better option for serious members.

And such high quality traffic at that, too. It must be like a wet dream for them.

LMAO, I didn't say it is, just that it should be. It's easier, you wan't secure trade - look at his iTrade, here - noone has more then 5 trades, and those who have, could be spammers.

Personally I would be looking at the guy's posting history - does he behave like a tool or someone with credibility - you can probably ignore both likes and itraders and still be ahead of the game.

I've visited their forum, I can only say that they've got their Welcome section full of new threads since the DP changed :).

I don't think it is a smart move. Everyone can act as an smartass, and trick you :). Maybe, if the deal is not bigger then $XX, but if it's over that...

So, you think relying on iTrader (which anyone can give to another person, without a real trade taking place) is more reliable? That would be such a smart idea.

If he has over 20 iTrades, I would rely on it, yes :). Was there a rule on old forum, that didn't allow new members to give iTrades?

And that really means nothing. Anyone could easily get 20 iTrader (fraudulently or otherwise) and then go on to scam. In fact, there is one person (now banned) with over 90 iTrader and scammed a lot of people (they were just too afraid to speak up or leave negative rep as they would get it back). iorgus, if you want to look him up.

As an example, the Instant Pay transaction history with that user probably would have been a far better indicator. Right there you can see they had 2 instant pay transactions, and 1 of them was disputed by the buyer.

It is safer then trusting them on the sweet words. I had enough PM's on old forum from people with no iTrades who had so sweet words, but the things they were selling were something that I mentioned in thread I don't want :).

By the way, I have a forum, which has Thanks button, but I turned off the counter even if it can't help members in any way, as it is non-commercial forum. Why? Because people would post something that other like just to get that Thanks, sounds familiar?

I've reviewed enough transactions where someone has been ripped off (or diddled) and when I've looked at the posting history I've wondered why they ever thought that person would be reliable. I don't think I've ever been surprised.

I'm assuming you've done your research and know that while we no longer use iTraders the history is still visible. It always amuses me when someone dodgy gets reviewed and all their iTraders come from members who are already banned.

If a member can't put one sentence together, he can't have more then 20 iTrades. Mods would ban him until then (make iTrades with others like himself, or better said, with himself but via other acc's :D).

Yeah, I always checked are some of those who gave him iTrade banned, and not only that, I've checked what iTrade does the giver have. If they both have more then 20 iTrades, and have worked with those who have more then 20 iTrades, he is reliable.
