Hey guys, about 2 weeks ago i bought a new domain and started to submit its sitemap to various search engines, some of which got indexed, i had about 15posts. A week later i decided to change niche, so i deleted that wordpress installation as a whole and installed a new one, with a completely different niche. I've resubmitted its sitemap to all the search engines again. By having done this would it play a huge part in messing up my SEO capabilities now? Since its a new site i can't tell yet cause SEOs dont usually kick in that early, so any further insight into what i'm going to expect is much appreciated, thanks.
The search engines will probably just reindex your site and any ranking you had in the previous niche will be lost. Only having the website for 2 weeks means that not very much of your work was lost.
I recommend that you really should plan your site before you launch and submit it everywhere. Once you choose one niche, keywords, etc, try to stick with it.
