Bweezy.com is a new search engine that has features that no other search engines (not even Google) offer. Bweezy makes web search faster than ever by allowing the user to open multiple search results in the original browser window without having to leave the search page. Bweezy also offers innovative features like the ability to view different kinds of search results (web, images, etc) simultaneously, and the ability to share search results.

Take a look and let us know what you think. We are always looking for feedback, insights and ideas to make your search better.

Another "new" search engine... I think there was another one announced last week here. Though I don't remember it's name anymore. Boring...

The new search engine mentioned before is called "Blekko". It specializes in using slashtags that search only the sites you want. While that is a nice feature, Bweezy offers other features that are much more convenient and useful! For example, you can open your search results right in the browser window so you no longer have to open tabs upon tabs to find the site that you want.

Thank you! We agree, there are many search engines out there today. But we think Bweezy has features that make it stand out from all the other "new" search engines out there.

Do you plan to continue to use Google's ads or is that something you plan on updating in the future. Having another ad platform would probably be as (if not more) effective as promoting a search engine on its own.

The video search does look pretty cool. Would like to see Facebook search integrated in with Twitter, geographic search (for reviews, directions etc. think foursquare, facebook places) and Q&A search for SEO people like us. If there was a search engine that look thru relevant Q&A threads on Ask, Yahoo Answers, and Facebook I would really be intrigued!

Why is that? Also, chances are revenues from a different platform would be smaller, so why would they want to try something else?

    Brad,

We'll be testing various ad platforms to see which one gives us the best results. Why do you think having a different platform would be so effective?

As regards Facebook and geo-results, those are definitely in the works. Q&A search is a cool idea, which we'll look into. Thanks for the suggestion!

I thought this was a new search engine but i see google search results so it's really not a new search engine in my eyes because you are using other search engine stuff in it.

Blekko is a new search engine that was made from scratch. I like the design on your website but this is not a search engine if you are using another search engine's ad platform to earn revenue.

Now if you created your own "adwords" and "adsense" platform then i'd be willing to use it. I could do the same thing you did to your site if i had a spare domain to use. :(

    Snakeair,

Did you check out their features? They have stuff no one else has.

Also it's interesting you thought them using Google results is a negative. The only reason I'm using them is because they have Google results. Any new search engine that came out the last few years wasn't usable because their results weren't as good as Google's (IMO)
