Is this against the AdSense ToS? I bought some traffic and want to make sure I'm not breaking any rules.

There many opinions but you can ask Google at your country.

As for the last update it's not legal to buy traffic to your if you only have AdSense inside them.

That mean that if your site is structured only from AdSense ads without any content then but traffic will be deceptive (like Arbitrage)

You can found many forum that say that it's not legal to use AdWords if a website use AdSense but that's not Google meant in their last TOS update.

it's not a good ideea. Google has a pretty good rate of detecting automatically generated traffic.

Well I'm just doing it the one time I already did do it. Besides, I haven't even made a single cent yet :(

I guess its how you are defining "bought traffic"

If your getting it from PPC search engines thats one thing,as it users searching, finding and then clicking.

But if your buying it from a paid to click type site that usually all comes from the same Ip.
(unless it is an email sent out to a list that contains only your url and not a www.paid-to-clickhere.com/youroffer.html )

That will get your account locked up by Google.

I think buying traffic is not a good idea.

It is risky. You can contact adsense support and confirm where its safe or not.
