Ok, Ok - I know this is probably a worn out issue and it's BAD to buy traffic. I have a content site and I'm not trying to sell anyone products really. I just need to increase my hits immensely.. so my question is.. do these BUY TRAFFIC sites really deliver and if so, is it through illegal methods (I don't want my google adsense and valueclick to kick me out). I want to make sure that it's true targetted from the category, etc... ???

    I have seen these sites:
    Immensehits.com
    blazingtraffic.com
    wantedhits.com
    trafficprovisions.net
    webtrafficzone.net

    etc...
    your thoughts?

Just be careful, wait until you get a good number of replies to this thread, then you will be in a position (after evaluating the thread feedback), to plan your next move re attaining traffic to your site

    The simple answer is not.

They may deliver hits while you are paying but the visitors won't stay, click on any ads, or return in future.

Try adwords .. be patient .. set yourself realistic traffic targets .. Remember .. Rome was not built in a day ;)

dont know the sites you mentioned, but as a general rule i would say any popup, popunder and layerads traffic is worthless. someone else here bought 100k popups (arround 9$ at ebay) and got exactly 0 signups, was for some kind of forum i think.
adwords may be a good but quite expensive choice, as an alternative you could try clicksor.com (same like adwords, but much cheaper and smaller reach) or adbrite.com (you can buy ads on some websites and pay per click or a fixed fee per day, week or month).

I have to agree with payoutwindow.
    These services are worthless.
The only service i had *a little* (and i repeat that: A LITTLE) success with was with the Bravenet traffic packages. :)

I agree using Adwords, since 80% of users use Google for information
