I got an email the other day that said, in part: Any idea why they would want to do that? Are they hoping some of my PR6 will rub off on the subdomains?
Subdomains dont seem to be effected by the sandbox IMO, some people say they are, but from my own tests I dont think this is the case. Take a look at the recent www.syndic8.com thread and you will see why they got banned from google. Matt
I think it's a bad idea to do something like that. You don't know what they'll do and even if they told you, they can change it at any time. You don't want your domain's reputation to be sullied by some unknown party. Especially with what happened to syndic8 - you really ought to think three times before doing anything like that.
I would be very weary of using their DNS servers also, you don't know WHAT they would point your Top Level Domain to. I would just tell them to buy teir own!!!
