Buying Site Traffic & Links

    Running a contest to get relevant posts - $25

    Part 2 of the contest by searching our traffic logs for backlinks - $25

    To those of you who have tried this in the past - is the prize amount too low / high? Will it work?

    Depends on your target audience, personally I would have combined the prize money of both the contests and started one based on best article i.e. the person who writes the best article on SEO gets US$ 50.

    That would have gotten you some fabulous link baits to build your community on.

    I would leave that sort of decision on the moderation team i.e. you and any other admin/mod. Just pick an article you feel is best.
