I was wondering if any of you purchase signatures on other sites. What I am trying to do is buy signatures on "non-techie" sites. Here at DP, buying sigs is quite common, but on non tech sites many people don't realize what a signature is, let alone the value of it. I have made some half-hearted attempts at some "power posters" and "mid-level" posters on non tech forums asking if they might be interested. I have not had much success as yet. If anyone has had some success, I was wondering how you approach them? Do you PM them? Or post a public msg? How do you explain what you are trying to accomplish? What kind of price do you offer them? Any feedback is appreciated.
I think the best thing to do would be to become a member and then a PM'ing them to ask if they are interested in selling a link in their signature. The only problem is that on non-webmaster forums, there will be few people interested.
