Buying & Selling Websites... Please Review

2 Sites to review (same design)

    1 : Buy Site: TweetBuyer.Com

Shows all users that are looking to buy items, then allows you to message the specific profile owner them via their own "buyer page".

    2 : Sell Site: TweetSeller.Com

Shows all users that are looking to sell items, then allows you to message the specific profile owner them via their own "seller page".

Have a look and try them out... These sites are still in their infancy but should prove to be very popular!

The logo is very good. You could have created subdomains like buyer.yourdomain.com instead of creating two domains. Anyway, the domain name sra very good.

You should also buy a domain like tweetmarket.com or something. And then link tweetbuyer to buy.tweetmarket.com and the same for sweetseller..

    Nice site,
You better change the header image with something much better.
The google ad should be down not in the header.

@Affar the header is meant to be simplistic, the sidebar explains the sites purpose etc.

google adverts can be places anywhere - best positions are header & sidebar (as well as within paragraph content)

I hope you will find a good domain. I find it a quite tough job. I am now trying to find a domain for my holding of forums. :)

i kept the design simple & vibrancy down to a minimum to avoid distracting from the twitter updates...

thanks for all the comments so far!

    Another great idea, Daniel

    Here are my thoughts:

The logo doesn't look clean on the grey background.

Personally, I don't like the grey background - I'd prefer a brighter color

It bothers me a bit that the corners of your Adsense ads are rounded, while your content background doesn't have any rounded worners at all.

You might want to think about setting the line height to 1.3 or 1.4.

I don't like the logo too, and the google adsense right to it. Also I like more rounded angles. The background is too dark for my taste. As I look closer the background is pixelized, looks like it's dirty and dusty :) Any way I like the rest. Good Luck!

the background was supposed to be "dusty" like.

@lokielookies, thanks, when i get chance i will make the container top & bottom have rounded corners. i wanted the background to be darker because nearly all of the other twitter apps have a bright colour scheme and it makes it stand out as being more serious.

if anyone wants to come up with ideas for a logo i would appreciate it.

    Thanks for the comments!
