While i was looking for a way to promote my new website, i found very interesting site for buying/selling links. The link is: http://linkworkers.com. So if you have website you can sell links on your website, and get payed, or if you are looking for a way to promote your site, you can do on this site. It is similar to microworkers. Does anyone have experience with this?

As per current algorithm Google says don't buy paid links. If you buy any links and google see that particular links, it may be penalize.

Make sure the links to your site are from similar sites. If your website is about Bananas Google will value links from other sites about Bananas. It shows you have authority in the Banana community. When they see you suddenly get 100s of low quality links from spammy sites Google will kick down your PageRank or ban you.

Google can kick you for selling links, but only if you are selling hundred of not related links and have short non-quality posts (under 200 words) together with some other things. It is very easy to determine which website is link farm a.k.a spam. Selling 15-20 links with at least 50% of related to you niche can not affect your website's ranking. Linking to website from your niche with dofollow tag can bring you benefits too.

I agree with your reply. If Google penalize all websites which put banner ad on their website... then what ?

P.S. I am sorry about bumping this old post but i have to reply here...

Buying/Selling links or buying/selling ads is normal thing in our economies... nothing is wrong if you worked hard to build your site and you want to monetize it. thats whay google is doing with its search engine too.

Yeah. By the way one of the biggest problem is Google don't want to share profit with anyone (metaphorically). :D If we all used to buy links / AdWords from them then it's OK, but if we used to buy on person A or person B's website then it's a problem. :)

Now tell me, is it natural if some websites appear prior to others no matter the quality of the content ?

Answer: It isn't because money rules everything. Just pay to Google. :)

I will answer your question. Domain was dropped and bought as PR6. To got PR6 on your website built from scratch is equal to impossible. I haven't seen any blog or website PR6 which is not corporate or popular as hell.

People are buying dropped domains all the time in order to earn money then post short posts mostly not related to website niche. That is the main problem why Google label those as a spam and degrade PR.
