Buying Profit making websites

    I have seen lots of people trying to sell websites making 20$, 50$ or 100$ a day or a month.
    I just wanted to know if these websites continue to produce that kind of revenue regularly or do they stop earning after one buys it?
    What are your personal experiences? Were any of such buys useful to you?

    i guess i won't sell a site thats making money,until and unless i need immediate money...

    I know some people pump short-term traffic to their sites just to sell them... Just be weary of buying things online...
