Buying products through my own links?

Maybe stupid question, but I'd like to use Amazon as a dropshipper. Is it against their policy to buy through your own links and earn some money back? Or is there a better option to save with Amazon? Thanks in advance

It's against Amazon rules, but not all affiliate programs are like this. Commission Junction, for example, allows you to buy from your own links.

No you cannot do that with amazon. If you want to offer drop shipping try a site such as salehoo

When ever you buy something online your IP address gets listed, even if you were to buy through another website you are still using the same IP address, probably the same name and shipping address too.

Amazon has a lot at its disposal - im sure others have tried to do this in the past. The only way i could see them finding out is the ip address or the shipping address if your not careful!

To be safe id buy it from a different computer at a different ip address and have it shipped either to a po box or a family members house.

I wouldn't play with any of this hubpages and squidoo methods. I think Amazon has many employees just for this type of "business"

There are ways to by pass, example using a different computer, or maybe goto a internet access point, or even try using a VPS.
But then again, it is still against the TOS.

Interesting question. I was wondering this as well but figured it was not allowed but now I know for sure.
