Are you asking if you are capable of purchasing it through your aff link or are you asking if you are allowed to purchase it through your aff link? I've been doing it for quite some time and have never had any issues. I do not remember seeing a TOS that would say that you are not allowed to buy stuff with your aff link either.
I read on clickbank somewhere that you are allowed but like not encourage. Don't remember the exact words.
I think it is very commonly done with Clickbank. That is one of the reasons why it can be difficult to prmote any type of CB product that is of interest to webmasters - they usually buy through their own hoplink.
You can purchase through your own links. Even most of my affiliates do the same! Clickbank allows that. But if you wish to get paycheck, you should generate sales from different credit cards from different regions.
Yes, you can purchase your own product through your own affiliate link. You can also buy other peoples products through your own affilaite link. Want a tip to grab your first commissions quicker? Go up to your local Mall and grab 5 Different Gift cards. Make sure you get at least one Mastercard and one Visa. Grab your own product (or one that you are promoting) and use up the gift cards. You will then have enough of the criteria met to be able to pull out your check, providing you earned enough of the commissions through your affiliate link that you have set for your minimum check release (which is now $10.00). Not only will you be able to get your checks now, you have also saved on the price of the products that you have purchased because you will be getting your affiliate commissions from your purchases. From the Clickbank FAQ 25. Can I purchase products through my own hoplink? The short answer is yes, but ClickBank does not condone affiliates using their accounts for this sole purpose. As stated in our Accounting Policy, "ClickBank accounts cannot be used for the sole purpose of collecting rebates or otherwise extending credit to yourself or others." That is, affiliates should not be using their own hoplinks to purchase products for themselves and then collect a "rebate" check from ClickBank. Unless an account contains sales from made with 5 or more different credit card numbers, including at least one Visa card, and one MasterCard, our system will not generate a check for that account (even if the balance has met or exceeded the payment preference). PayPal and eCheck purchases do not count toward the minimum." Essentially as long as you don't abuse it, you will not get any trouble from Clickbank.
