Currently, I am running a blogspot blog website, is it possible for me to buy this domain (lets say at a go daddy or something) and make a stronger domain name out of it, and keep the traffic coming to it, and hopefully increase it?

    thanks for the help!

If you are asking is it possible for you to buy the sub domain, which is used by your blog (for example godaddy.blogspot.com), I don't think it is possible. If you really want to build a better brand for your blog, you should consider registering your own domain for it (for example godaddy.com).

If your current site is mycoolblog.blogspot.com you could buy mycoolblog.com, if it is available. You can't buy the whole thing because google owns blogspot.com, you are currently just using a subdomain on their servers.

You could set up a mirror site and slowly push your visitors to it, maybe a banner at the top of your page, saying "" this blog will close soon, and will move to here ""
    OR
Do what most do, just stay there,, you made your bed so lie in it,, just add some nicer covers...
