Buying Multiple Domains that forward to Main Site

Hi Everyone

I'm looking to buy domains that relate to my already established website. I will have them forward by 301 redirect to my main site.

My questions, is this a good idea? Will this in anyway hurt my current search engine rankings? How can I get those redirect domains ranked well in search engines?

You can't get this domains good ranked in search engines becouse search engines takes the final domain not the forwarded. But it's a good idea if they are good domains with some type-in traffic.

 

Better still, build those domains into micro-sites and have them link to your primary site, creating authority and pushing it effectively. Once your domains and sites have been established after some time, say 6-12months, then think about 301 redirecting them but hey, your micro sites might be making money too!

 

Dangerous strategy. Many linked mini sites are not welcomed by Google

 

If you have money for that - that is good idea indeed. All what you will need just redirect them and develop 3 domain names

 

if you hv money to spend for this thn go for it.

 

It will just be a backlink no? why would it be dangerous. each mini site will have its own unique content and a link over..
