Read http://www.inregistry.in/policies/dispute_resolution/dispute_decisions/ndtv.pdf Code (markup): to find out how indian companies are twisting arms of the law and getting back the domains for free .
NDTV can stand for anything . . . although reading through that whole thing i didnt see where anything was even resolved . . . what is that a letter trying to get the domain ? or a letter demanding the domain be turned over ?
interesting that big companies can go and request domain names just be cause the combination of letters may represent their actual names. thanks for sharing this info.
Thanks for the info it was really informative. Its a bit confusing anyone can register a domain and be the owner and then out of the blue comes a company that wants the same letters and has the right to claim it, so you have just reserved their domains and kept it safe for them. Surely this isn't fair...but then again nothing is fair.
