I have a question regarding link building and in particular SERP's (that is buying links with anchor text to a relevant keyword of your website). Say for example you want to rank high on Google for a specific keyword and you buy a lot of links on websites with the related niche using the keyword you want to target. Also say that your website is mainly USA traffic and your target market is from the USA. Would buying a sitewide/homepage/signature link on a website that is not primarily targeted to the USA have any affect on the SEO quality of the links you buy on the website? For example, there is a technology niche blog that is written in english but is mainly targeting users in India and has blog posts that have sources from Indian News sources. Would buying a link on said blog when I have a USA based and target market website have any adverse effect on the SEO of the link? So basically I guess what I am trying to ask is, does geography or country of origin/target market of websites have anything to do globally or domestically in regards to SEO quality of link building for websites originating/dominating in different countries? I know it's a unique question to ask and I am sorry if I couldn't word it all correctly, it was difficult to explain, but thanks for reading/posting if you do.
Google use many factors to determine the ranking. It uses the hosting server locations, TLD of the domain, your website content etc. So if you getting links from any website these factors will be also used to evaluate their targeting geo area. But after all if you are getting links, you are getting value to your website. But don't buy lot of links in a single go. Maintain a speed that looks genuine to search engines. Make changes to your anchor text after getting say 5 links from that anchor text.
