    Well most webmasters buy/sell links and they do so for boosting their SERPs....so any poll amongst them is going to be biased...

    Spam or no spam ...nothing is going to stop them from doing so..

    IMO, there is not much difference left now between white hat and black hat...just that some methods get detected more easily.

    Google may try as much as they want...but Google itself has created this PR based market.. it is useless to rant over it now.
