Buying know peoples domain name

    Is it okay to buy famous people name as your domain name like (www[dot]angelinajolie[dot]com)?

    Had anyone here bought one?

    What do you think would they do? They wouldn't have access to the server right?
    How about just buying the domain and reselling it at a high price?

    I forget the legal term, but buying something with someone else name/brand etc for the sole purpose to make money is illegal. Microsoft traps people with it all the time.If you initiate contact and offer, they take it for free. if they offer, they will offer a crazy low price. If you counter offer they get it for free.

    :mad: it is a bad idea and a great way to trash your companies brand online, even buying clients extra domains to protect themselves can back fire as they think you are trying to profit on them...
