I'm putting together a webinar on how to detect if a website is a good purchase. I've come up with a partial list of topics, but I'm looking for some additional input. What have you run in to in purchasing or selling your domain? Have you purchased a seemingly high earning site only to be left with nothing?

Here's what I've got planned so far:
    Verifying Details
    PageRank
    Traffic
    Traffic Referrers
    Alexa Rank
    PayPal Screenshots
    Other Screenshots
    Site Age
    Site Ownership
    Estimating Revenue

If the domain was dropped, wouldn't the website deadend rather than displaying content?

Nopes this is out of my personal expeience. Many webmasters will buy dropped domains put contents on them and sell it to you. Thats why I have mentioned dropped domains. A website containing content can also be dropped.
