Buying Hyphenated Domains ?

    Buying domains with 2 words in it, whats best , going for :

    HighestPaid.com

    or

    Highest-Paid.com

    I vouch for the second one as i think some search engines think of a hyphen ( - ) as a delimiter . Thats just my opinion. Whats yurs ?

    I would agree. My Squidoo lenses with the hyphen always do better than my lenses without. I haven't tested on websites yet, but if it works with lenses, it probably works on pages too.

    research has show hyphens SUCK compared to non....
    you are even better to get a .net or .org before going hyphen....
    seo is the reason, and 2nd reason is hyphens are HARD to remember correctly...

    I would use the first one, your visitors will remember it easier, and search engines recognize words in domain names pretty easily.
