Buying Expired Domains w/PR already

    Not that I care so much about PR, there is value to it.

    However, do you find that the PR usually keeps dropping since the content won't be the same?

    I know that some expired domains are listed in the DMOZ and/or Yahoo, and may have a bunch of backlinks already.

    Is it worth the investment?

    Hello,

    I was buying expired domains for long time, and the domains only lose the PR if other website get rid the backlink, if the domain keep the backlinks, the domain keep the PR :)

    How to check the backlinks? You said, easy link:domain dot com, right, but this is not all, you need to check every webiste and check if the backlink is in the website.. Why? As you know Google not update the backlinks everyday, or every 15 days, and sometime a domain with 100000 backlinks, when you check it, only has 2 backlinks...

    Very good info. I didn't realize I should be really verifying the backlinks. :)
