Buying Buying Established Web Hosting Companies

    A couple of things:

    1. I prefer they already are using WHM Solution for billing.

    2. They MUST have clients. The longer the better. Contract best.

    3. I am not looking at start ups.

    4. Seller must sign a non-compete.

    5. All revenue claims must have screen shots.

    6. I also need a full accounting of expenses. This includes hosting, as well as any licenses you have, whether you pay monthly, advertising budgets, support, etc..

    7. I also need to know if your host has you under contract since I will probably not host there.

    8. Also include if you have a reseller account for domains, and how many.

If you are serious about selling your business, I am serious about buying it. The level of detail will help decide that. I am looking forward to doing business.

    9. I am not interested in 'potential' or 'how much you invested in the design'. (I get this one all the time) Your selling price will be determined on how much PROFIT you are making. That means after expenses.

There are a number of sellers who are operating in the red. However, you are not going to get $5000.00 based on just your sales when you are over paying for your servers, and other licenses. You can either build your business up where it is worth what you think it is, or you can sell it for what it's currently worth. Monthly revenue x so many months.

    10. I am not looking for free hosts, image hosts, or anything other than established web hosting companies who have recurring billing clients. I will consider domain resellers, again, who have re-billing clients. So please do not contact me with these things.

Serious individuals and companies who are looking to sell out feel free to contact me with documentation.
