buying dropped high pr domains

    so a few weeks ago I got all excited over a domain, that i missed (even after confirmation of it being bought) - anyways no matter..

    point is: euro2004.com
    pr:7
    google backlinks: 3500+ (including loads from bbc, sky, uefa everywhere)

    you get the picture, seriously strong domain especialyl with euro2008 this year.

    checked it today:
    PR:0
    google backlinks: 0

    shame..

    thats the risk in buying PR dropped domains
    i don't recommend it..mostly of the times don't works

    Exactlly, i had same experience with a PR 5 domain from a friend.I transformed the website in a PR 5 directory and at the next PR update i received PR:0. At least I didn't payed to much for it :) like a beer :)

    buying event domains names is a pain. transform the into a history of EU2004 or something like that. a picture gallery of the even videos and such.

    Maybe is a good ideea to gamble and to buy the domains for the next 2-3 Olimpic games :D Never know if you buy 20 domains for the 2021 containing some posible cities:)
