Buying blog posts - good for SEO?

I need to increase the PR of my site and I wonder if buying blog posts is a good method to do? What happens when my blog post with my link will no longer be on the first page of the blog? Will I loose the link juice?

Should I rather buy blogroll links? However, I prefer to pay for everything one-time only, that's why I rather buy blog posts.

Blogroll links would probably be better, but blog posts certainly wouldn't hurt. Unless it's a very highly ranked blog though I wouldn't suggest paying to much for it..

It all depends on how many blogroll links are on the site. If its a PR5 but it has 527 blogroll links, then its worthless. A PR2 with 5 links would work wonders though. If you want to build Pagerank you are better off with posting comments on high PR blogs that are Do Follow.

Once the posts go to page 2 you will get less link juice. It's only important if you are building PR. Your ranking won't fall drastically when your link disappears from front page. In content links are better than blogroll links (untill they move to page 2).

I think blogroll link is properly better than blogspot link. I also recommend that shouldn't pay for blog spot. You can ask them for posting free article with your link in.

Try to find one where your competitors are and one that constantly adds content/posts.

Actually that's what I was afraid of. If my ranking won't fall drastically when my link disappears from front page, then I'm fine. Buying blog posts is a lot cheaper than buying blogroll or sitewide links.

I would not go for blog roll or blog links as they do not work long term.

blog rolls works out much more expensive that posts also
