Buying backlinks - will this affect Yahoo and other directories?

    I was wondering as I have seen a site called www.business dot com and I was recommended to purchase a link and it would improve my SERPs.

    However, after reading the clamp down by Google on buying links, will anyone using this site be penalised? Will it affect the people who have already bought a link?

    you're allowed to purchase text links. :) (it's an ADVERTISEMENT)

    just make sure they are RELEVANT, and useful, and not SP*MMY.

    links make the "net" world go round.

    So your allowed to buy anchor text links? I was under the impression that was buying links?

    To confirm Google will penalise you for buying TLA.
