Buying back links vs PPC

Just a thought... Would it be better to buy targeted traffic instead of wasting time/money buying back links? Now I'm sure if done properly the back links will yield a longer term effect but is the ROI worth PPC?

It is difficult to say in general which traffic generating method is yielding the better ROI. I guess it has to be judged on a per case basis. As PPC prices have soared over the last couple of years I prefer link building. But be careful with buying links. You should make sure that the links are worth the money. If it is too obvious that the links are bought then you should not invest.

Fiverr, Odesk or Elance are great places to find link building services. Make sure they are familiar with the latest Google algoritm changes.

I have made bad experience with buying traffic. In my point of view this traffic usually doesnt convert.

You really need to try them up to get the result, then only you can compare or/and analyse it.
Freaky speaking, organic traffic is still better compare to PPC traffic in term of conversion

Link building gives you long term result in search engine while ppc gives good traffic in targeted area. Both is helpful for business if you have done ppc for your website rank then it also increase your serp of keyword.

Well from my experience, sometimes PPC campaigns can go horribly wrong netting you nothing but a sorry loss of $$$. If you build backlinks, at least you know it will most likely have some kind of positive effect, as long as you aren't buying shitty Fiverr gigs that blast your page with 1000's of shitty links.

PPC is a bitch, it's a hard nut to crack. The people that have 'cracked that nut' though are onto a good thing.

I would say backlinking is a safer bet and if you are going to go with PPC, make sure you do you're research well. Don't just dive into a campaign and waste your precious moniez.

For me none of them worth both time and money. Because ...
Buying back links. Somehow it's helpful if you are SEO starter, however we are not sure how and where is it planted. Yes we can ask some reports, but is it a more waste of time to verify 'em? Yes.
PPC. This technique will only last as long as your money fuels the ads. Once you run out, the traffic, conversion and back link depreciate in a snap. Real fast.

Meh, I haven't tried anything. Just my two cents. And I would more confident to use my hands and brain in building links, in short, a real human.

Buying backlinks is a no for me, building them slowly without any cost, yes.
PPC is better if you know what you're doing, you've got a working offer, and you want fast results.
