Buying Articles - Duplicate Content?

In 1 line yes, but this thing don't work that well. If you put $20/hour on yourself and see the work involved, you will find simple doing article submision for links is not that of a great idea. You need to get 2-3 things rather than just 1. Try to target traffic, lead generation, brand building etc as well with article submission.

As far duplicate content thing is concerned, Avoid it at any cost. Your page will never rank and the link value won't be much but since you have invested money and time in it, it becomes a loss business.

 

I've seen duplicate content rank in the 10 all the time. For example, I have the #1 Google result for "rent with bad credit." The #9 result (HubPages) is a ripoff. I am currently jumping through hoops to get it de-indexed.

 

This would be a valid point if only there was a duplicate content penalty, which has been discussed at length already.
