Buying an site on Sedo

    Hi

    I am interested in buying an site on Sedo, but the only info I can get about the site is Unique Visitors to Website and Page Views as displayed by sedo on the page where you make the offer.

    How do I contact the seller to discuss some more issues?

    When you make/counter a bid there is a drop down menu you can use, or there is a box you can fill in to ask a Q, it needs to be approved but its the only limited contact you have.

    Do a whois for the name. That's the only way i can think of now
    Sedo will never give you the information of the seller because they will loss the commission if you buy from the seller directly.

    If I was selling a domain on Sedo (say for 10k) would I need to be Tax Registered? I'm confused as there's an option to enter tax info, but since I'm outside the UK does it still apply and why is it only optional?

    you won't have to pay tax unless you're in UK..don't know the law back in hk though
    btw are you UK citizen living in HK?

    Yep I'm UK citzen in HK.

    I would not think that you are exempt just because you are not residing in the UK.
