Ok lets say I own www.xxx123.co.uk. Would it be in any way beneficial for me to purchase www.xxx123.com aswell and redirect it to the first site? I personally cannot really see any great way it could increase traffic, but I am new to this, so it might be greatly beneficial. Thanks

.coms are 6.95. There's no reason why NOT to. Typos, everything thinks its .com anyway... etc.

I agree. But if it isn't available, and if all of your traffic is coming from ads and them clicking on links, then don't sweat it.

I think buying the .com domain would get you some extra traffic. Not only that stopping somebody else coming up with a site with the .com domain would be a good business decision for you.

Everybody prefers .com first . Just think if you ask me any website on phone and i will tell you go to youtube and suddenly phone gets disconnected than what will you do . Most of the people first search for youtube.com . This is the truth .

Yeah, if I see a link, I'm going to hover over it to see if it is a com extension. If it isn't, I'm not going to click on it. lol
