You'd have to ask someone more knowledgable(sp?) about powweb, but as far as I can tell they promise 100% uptime so I'm not sure why you'd need to contact support on New Years day :)

If you are looking for good support use my host, micfo.com

They have always answered my trouble tickets in 15 minutes or less, they are the best ones I've ever used.

IPowerWeb is known to be a sorry outfit by most reports, use Fryman's host or GoDaddy or Hostway or Netnation or anyone but Powweb :D :p

I signed up for an affiliate program with these guys, I think they offer the same thing, plus you can resell their program and make money.

    See what they say.

I'd go through powweb before going through someone's affiliate link here. He's just trying to make money off you.

Ipowerweb has an affiliate program also, but they suck as a host. I am a member of their affiliate program also, but have heard from spyware experts that they are involved with malware/adware/spyware vendors and I dropped them.

Funny Fryman, that site review must be owned by "Ipowerweb" as they are recommended highly on the home page.

But Ipowerweb is the outfit that is associated with the spyware/adware server outfit that the spyware experts mentioned.

PowWeb seems to be a different company.

He is looking at PowWeb, who knows they may be competitors with a very similar name.

Looks like neither company is any good, I have seen bad reports on both, but IpowerWeb is getting good reviews by the site you linked so I am thinking that may be a fraud also controlled by IpowerWeb.

I personally don't put much thought into ANY reviews on wht. A good percentage of members are competitors....
For that matter try to find a thread of a host with all good reviews, I can't.

If you want cheap hosting you get bad email and other services that really are not worth anything, one of the best cheap hosts is GoDaddy believe it or not.

Their web design software sucks, but for hosting and email that comes with your package, you get what you pay for with little or no downtime.

If one wants to pay more, we have members like Compar that will serve websites, you get what you pay for where ever you go.

    awesome bump :D
DP is different kind of forum. It's a very specific in nature(which I think should be the formulae for succesful forums). But they differ in appeal. I know some very good forums on symbian mobiles but since they appeal to less people so they won't get too much traffic. Games forum can get good traffic due to there appeal. If you are interested in starting your forum, I will highly advice you to start something new and of your interest

If anyone gives you $4 for a huge pack, don't buy it. It may look like cheaper... but after few months, they might leave their business... I had an experience... I am sharing it with the members of digitalpoint..

I bought a web pack called 'unlimited' from ebay. They seller asked $100 for 10 years. I bought it, but I could use it only for eight months...

Then I bought another pack from ebay. the seller asked $50 for lifetime pack. I bought that too... but after few months, some one mailed me, and asked monthly price, if not my account is likely to be cancelled... I told them to cancel....

Now I use a web pack from bbchost... it is available at www.bbchost.net/basicplans.html

They provide one year free... SO 100% satisfaction... Enjoy!!
