This is the first host I am to buy, I want to know a few things:

    1. My site is in forum style, how many kbs is each thread?

    2. How many visitors can I get each day with a 50 GB a month bandwidth host?

I am buying it now, so please reply as soon as your can.

    Thank you VERY MUCH.

I get an average of 3,000 uniques per day and use about 30gb, 50gb is a lot, so don't worry about that.

Ok, thanks, I plan to get about 80,000-100,000 a day on a forum that is currently hosted on a freehost until I buy my paid hosting.

Please visit the URL (this isn't advertising, this link will be shut down as soon as I transfer) and tell me by the size of my site, if I was to have 80,000-100,000 visitors on it each day, how much bandwidth I would need.

I greatly thank you for your help, and I am sorry for posting in the wrong forum.

with 80,000-100,000 visits a day you should be able to get a high quality dedicated server or a host that doesn't try to look big by giving useless features such as $50 ovt advertising.
But I think fryman will tell you that going from 3 visits a day to 80,000 or more probably isn't as easy as you think. But from experience I wouldn't recommend a host just based on those stats you've provided, I'd want to have solid reviews and 100% uptime.

You should just use that host you posted and wait untill you get those 100,000 thousand visitors to move on to a bigger thing.

Off topic... hey, Iconrate, I seem to be your siamese twin at Google! We are stuck against each other for several keywords now :D

I don't think either of us are suggesting to go with a "cheap" host. There are plenty of high quality hosts that offer a good price such as powweb who've been around a long time. Just don't base your purchase on gimmicks.

I've personally never used them but a friend who runs vega-nick.com (who I'm hosting now) used them for over 2 years with no complaints.

    Re: PowWeb

Yeah, I know, but I tried to call them, there Tech Support is down... They don't even have "Third World Tech Support" (lol) there closed for holidays, do they do this a lot?

Do they have a 24/7 Tech Support? Do they close on every holiday?
